OUR MINISTRY
Pilgrim Hills Mentoring is a faith-based mentoring facility that exists as an extension of the Church to provide healing for youth, couples, and families through Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to care for the hearts of youth, couples, and families through biblically-based discipleship—compassionately shepherding them toward healing, accountability, and freedom from emotional pain through Jesus. We seek to restore individuals to their families and to their Heavenly Father so they can experience the abundant life that Jesus Christ came to give.
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. We teach that Jesus Christ—crucified, risen, and coming again—is the only way to salvation, and that personally accepting Him as Lord and Savior is essential for eternal life.
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd.” John 10:10–11
OUR PROGRAMS
We believe that in order for earthly relationships to be truly restored, your relationship with your Father in heaven must be restored first.
Before addressing struggles such as marriage difficulties, financial hardships, trauma, or loss, we desire for you to first come to know the Father.
This often begins with simply spending time listening for His voice and discovering the truths the Bible reveals about who we are in Christ. From there, we begin to address the specific areas where individuals, couples, or families may be struggling.
We utilize some courses from Craig Hill, founder of Family Foundations International, as well as concepts from Caring for the Heart. Because every person is unique, what works for one may not resonate with another. We trust the Holy Spirit to guide us to what each individual needs most, and then follow the path that bears the most fruit.
Our ultimate goal is to lead people into a fulfilling life in Christ Jesus.
HOW WE OPERATE
Pilgrim Hills Mentoring is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made possible by the generous contributions of a community that shares our vision to help hurting people. Because of this support, individuals who might not otherwise be able to receive help now have access to the care they need. We do not charge for mentoring services, but donations are always welcome.
Our ministry is also supported by annual fundraisers and through Peaceful Pines Retreat.
We are deeply thankful for the prayers, time, and resources that so many have poured into this mission. We pray that God pours out His favor on all who have contributed. All honor and glory go to Jesus, the King of kings!
